Meet Gracie Vargas – The Passion Behind Essence of Grace Yorkies

Hi, I’m Gracie Vargas, and welcome to Essence of Grace Yorkies! My love for Yorkshire Terriers started 18 years ago with a Christmas gift—a Yorkie puppy who captured my heart and changed my life.

For 13 years, I adored my two pet-quality Yorkies, and in 2019, I decided to take my passion further by breeding and showing Yorkshire Terriers. I carefully selected my first show-quality female, and my goal became clear: to enhance the breed, honor AKC standards, and produce exceptional puppies.

Since starting my program, I have achieved significant milestones:
🏆 Produced three AKC Champions and one AKC Grand Champion
📋 Health-tested all breeding pairs with Embark and OFA certifications
💙 Provided dedicated care, including progesterone testing, brucellosis testing, ultrasounds, and X-rays for expecting moms
